SILLUSTANI - TITICACA LAKE - UROS ISLAND & TAQUILE

DAY 01.- LIMA - PUNO (SILLUSTANI CHULLPAS)
Arrival, reception and transfer to the Hotel. Visit to the Sillustani Chullpas 30 kilometers from Puno at the border of the Umayo lake. Ancient cemetery of the Hatun Colla chiefs. This pre- Inca monuments merits a special attention by the magnificent work. Return to the Hotel. Lodging.

DAY 02.- UROS AND TAQUILE ISLAND
Breakfast in the Hotel. In the morning, transfer to the Puno port to board the boat which will take us to the Taquile island where we will see a beautiful sightseeing of the lake, a colorful folklore and a splendid handicraft. It’s also notorious for the “sicure” fabrication, a typical musical instrument of the region. On the way we will visit the Uros floating island. Return to the hotel. Lodging.

DAY 03.- PUNO - LIMA
reakfast in the Hotel. At the selected hour transfer from the hotel to the airport to board your departure flight.

F/D TAQUILE ISLAND
Visit to the Taquile island which has like the more important attractions the landscape, dominated by andeans where is cultivated the potatoe, maíz, quinua and haba; ceremonial centers where its performs rites for the cocecha and pesca were abundant, and the hospitality of its people, well organized. The texture on this island is an main activity and the clothes which elaborated its settlers shows designs related with its daily life. Box Lunch.

F/D AMANTANI ISLAND
Visit to the Amantani island where we can visit the archaeological places like the cementery cave of Chatajón and ceremonials like Pasallasca O’cco, where each year is venerated the Mama Qocha. Its habitants dedicate principally to the agriculture and the fishing. They product textures in design variety and they make baskets and bins with the straw of ichu.

They also realize carved on granítica rock proceeding of the Llacastiti mountain.

F/D SUN ISLAND
Natural island in all the Bolivian territory situated from 155 Kilometres to Puno. The excursion consists in the transfer from Puno to Copacabana for then since its port to take an private boat to this island enjoying the inca remains and spectacular views of the lake and closly mountains. From its top , low a flowing which has denominated like “la Fuente de la Juventud”. Lunch in Copacabana and return to Puno.
